PUBLIC RECEPTION AT SYDNEY, WEATHER STILL GOOD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Sydney, June IS. The Prince had a free afternoon and attended the State Government dinner in the Town Hall to-night. The weather was fine and the illuminations again attracted enormous crowds. There is a strong movement on foot among Federal members to utilise the Prince's visit to Canberra on Monday to lay the foundation stone of the Fed■oral Parliament House, in order to force the Government's hands over its inaction in transferring the seat of the Federal Parliament from Melbourne to Canberra. It is estimated that approximately 50,000 attended the Prince's public reception, including the crowds m the vicinity. Admiral Halsey stated that lie had seen nothing like it in the world.
