MONTHLY RETURNS. The returns for the New Plymouth trams for the month of May again show an increase over the working of the corresponding month of last year, the increase being £146 15s Bd, and an addition of 19,047 passengers were carried. It is interesting also to note that the car miles have be P en reduced by 404 miles in the month's working. Details: £ s. d. Total passengers carried 8.142. Total mileage run. 2247. Total amount of fnres received £92 17s fld.
