LAMB AT NEW YORK.
SMALL PRICE DENIED. By Telegraph— Press Association. Ohristclmrch, Last Night. The shipments of New Zealand lamb to the United States were originally arranged with the Imperial Government through Armour and Co. Ltd., London, at the instigation of Armour and Co. of Australasia, Ltd. This statement was made to a reporter to-day by Mr. N. L. Mcßeth, manager in New Zealand for Armour and Co., of Australasia, Ltd., when referring to last night's Auckland message in regard to New Zealand lamb on the American market. Whilst unable to giva details he knew that the price of 11 cents per lb stated to have been paid to the Imperial Government was quite wide of the mark. A price very much above this was paid.
