NO FURTHER DF.VELOPMENTS. Br Tetegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. No further developments have occurred in connection with the decision of the Gas Employees' Union to take extreme action to enforce their claims. The manager of the gas company stated to-night that, in reply to the secretary of the union, who asked for the • re-consideration of the men's demands, he had stated that the matter would be laid before a meeting of the board of directors next Monday. Owing to the absence of some of the members no full meeting of the board could he held before then.
