The Council of the League of Nations net -at 8t James' Palace to consider, amongst other . matters, the situation created by the Bolshevik invasion of Perils. Sir Eric Drummond, the SecretaryGeneral, presided, and there were present Lord Curzon (representing Britain), M. DdJeuriau (France), and Prince Firon (Persia). There were also present representatives of Spain, Belgium, Japan, Italy and Greece. A doctor who ;s the supervision of the repatriation of Allied prisoners in Siberia was fifient ta,an advisory capacity. Ai regards Persia's appeal, it is under Stood, that no unanimous decision was arrived at. With a view of arriving at perfect concord between the Persian representatives and the jest of the members. tile Council agreed that a separate meeting shbttfd be held between the Persian and trefich representatives in the preaeaep of Bir Erie Drummond with the object of reaching a unanimous.decision. —Reuter Service.
