INGLEWOOD SALE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a good attendanco at tho Farmers' Co-op. sale on Wednesday, 9th Inst, and a fair muster of stock, but the tone of the sale was depressed though a large proportion of the lots yarded were sold. Mixed weaners realised from £1 5s to €3 10s. Jersey heifers of the same class £8 Is. Yount Jersey heifers In calf sold tip to £8 ss. Other strains, mostly Shorthorn £7 ss. Steers 20-month £4 ss, 2%-year £7 liis; dairy cows to £l7 15s, store cows £6 to £B, fat and forward cows £ll. Culled lambs were sold at 10a-to 14s, good lambs for 193 Gd, ewes In lamb 19s fid, 6-tooth to f.m. wethers 27s lOd. A clearing sale was held by Mr. N. King's fnglewood staff on Tuesday, 15th Inst,, on account of Mr. Joseph Butler, of Dudley load All the conditions, weather, thronged rttendr.nce, bidding humor of the buyers, and vim of the auctioneers contributed to the making of a really good sale. The farm Implements and sundries went with a swing at good prices. The Ford motor car was knocked down at £2OO. The horses were kesnly competed for, being sold at £42, £23 ]os, end £32 respectively. The cows, a nice ,ot of second calvers of Jersey-Holsteln strain, sold for from £l2 to £2l. The Jersey heifer in-calf brought £lB, 2%-year Jersey bull £2O, and the two so/wH carrying second litter £ll and £l2.
