BUTTER AND CHEESE.
EXPORTS FROM TARANAKI., THE SEASON ENDING. With the departure of the Corlnna for Wellington this wook with 8000 crates of cheese and BtXX> boxes of butter for transhipment to the Home linor Wa|\y«;*> there remains in store at the Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works Company's store at Moturoa, and at the company'* branch stores at Eltliam and Ivaponga, 48,000 crates of cheese and 24,000 boxes of butter. The company was recently allotted space on two ships, the first being the lonic, which is due to leave Wellington on June 21 and which will take ?000 crates of cheese. The second vessel was the Argyllshire, leaving Wellington about June 30, which Was to have tijken 8000 crates of cheese, but advise has been received that this allottment of space has been cancelled. Therefore, at the present time the only impending shipment is by the lonic, no further space having been allotted. At the end of this month the flnsActal V year of the company ends, and it i« unlikely, owing to the latenexs or tha season, that there will be muck ao% produce received before then. Already most of the dairy factories ka*« ctos><>l " 1 down, and most of them have their butter and cheese in store.
