JpUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the County of Taranaki fctend at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be >held at 11 a.m. on Monday, the oth day of July, 1920, at the County Chambers, Robe Street, New Plymouth, to make and levy under Section 117, "Counties Act, 1!)08," Section 48, "Rating Act, 1008," Section fl, "Racing Amendment Act, 1013," and Section 41 Sub-section 9, "Hospital and Chantable Institutions Act, 1909," RaUs within each of the Ridings of the County of Taranaki as particularised hereunder:— MANGOREI RIDING.—A General Rate of five and one eighth pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Rate of nine sixteenths of a penny ir. the pound. WAITARA RIDING'.—A General Rate of four and thirteen sixteenths pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine sixteenths of a penny in rfe pound. OMATA RIDING.—A General Rate of four and nine sixteenths pence in the pound and a Hos pital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine sixteenths of a penny in the pound. Such rates to be calculated on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property within the County of Taranaki and to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1920, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1921, and to b'j payable in one instalment at the offi::e of the Taranaki County Council, Rob: Street, New Plymouth, on the tenth day of July, 1920.
