GENERAL BOOTH'S TOUR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. General Booth this evening concluded a remarkable campaign, his every moment being crowded with activities. From his civic reception throughout, he addressed large and enthusiastic gatherings, also addressing overflow meetings, besides the scholars of both Girls' and Boys' High Schools, in addition ,to several meetings of a semi-private nature. He has been charmed and touched by the warmth of mis Various receptions, whilst the results of his campaign have been highly gratifying. He leaves to-morrow for Wellington, where he will conduct the annual congress.
INFLUENZA IN WELLINGTON DISTRICT. Wellington, Last Night. For the week ended at noon to-day, 330 cases of influenza were reported in the Wellington public health district, an increase of 61 compared with the figures for the previous, week. The district health officer (Dr. Faris) stated that the cases reported were nearly all mild, and considering the season of the year there was nothing in the return calling for comment. The cases were classified as follows:—(Pneumonia. 12, severe 5, mild 313.
