PROPERTY DEALS.
SALES AT PALMERSTON NORTH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Some interesting property deals are reported. Mr. P. A. MeHardy's Beaulieu estate of 150 acres, just outside the borough, Ims been sold to Mr. E. R. Saunders for £2OO an acre, including the homestead. Mr. McHardy has purchased itr. R. ,S. Abraham's picturesque home and 36 acres for £lo,noo, Mr. G. H. Bennett's two acres and eightroomed house sold for £5500 cash. As a result of a statement that the Railway Department has decided to divert the station engine-sheds and lines out of Palmerston, and construct the buildings and lines outside the borough, speculation in property in the vicinity is very brisk. The borough council unanimously approves the arrangement.
