BEING TOWED TO NEWCASTLE. By Telegraph.—rress Assn.—'"ipjfijht Sydney, June 11.' The Havre and the tug Champion *are slowly heading towards Newcastle, their speed averaging 4 1-5 miles per hour, and expect to reach Newcastle in a few days. Received June 12, 12.30 a.m. Sydney June 11. A wireless from the Champion states she is only able to tow the Havre at the rate of four knots an hour. The tug Heroic has been asked by wireless to assist to tow the Havre to Newcastle.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesn.
