WEDDING.

WELLS—IZOD. A very pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church at Okato on Tuesday, June Ist,. 1920, the contracting parties being' Miss Ida Wells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs C. Wells, of Warea, and Francis Lionel Izod, youngest son of Mr, and Mrs. Lionel Izod, of Auckland, and nephew of the late Colonel W. Izod, "Chapel Izod House, Stoneyford, County Kilkenny, Ireland. The bridesmaids were Miss Daisv Wells, cousin of the bride, and Miss Dorothy Izod, niece of the bridegroom. Mr. L. K. Izod, brother of the bridegroom, carried out the duties of best man The officiating minister was the Rev. Strand, of Opunake. The bride was given away by her father. .fter the ceremony the party returned to the Warea Hall, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, between 50 and CO guests being present. The usual toasts were given and suitably responded to. The bride and bridegroom left by the Rarawa for Auckland en route to Rotorua, where the honeymoon Is to be spent. In the evening the guests were entertained at a dance in tho Warea Eall, where dancing was continued till 1.30 a.m. Mr Gordon Wells and Mr L. K. Izod carried out the duties of M.'aC. in a satisfactory manner, music being supplied by Mr. Pearson. Everything went with a swing, and all present thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
