CAMPAIGN AGAINST CRIME. GOVERNMENT FORCES STRONGER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—T-opynaht. London, June 7. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr. Donald, Mr. Lloyd George emphasised that the Government intended to take steps to bring to justice all persons J associated with crime in Ireland. The Government in this connection was organising the Trish Executive, and strengthening the police, naval and military forces in Ireland. It would probably also be necessary to strengthen the law for dealing with crime. The Government intended to put down the present organised campaign of murder and assassination.—Reuter Service. London, June 8. Dublin advices state that the new military patrol is bearing fruit, as military intervention frustrated an attack on the constabulary barracks at Brosna, County Kerry. Dublin, June 8. Munitions are hurriedly -arriving at Cork. The Harbor Commissioners refused to unlock the big cranes for armed transport and unloading military lorries The soldiers broke the locks and commenced unloading, but made little progress in the absence of dockers. The railway strikers have not returned. At Limerick workers refused to handle coil intended for the constabulary. The constables unloaded it, protected by an armed escort.—Times.

De Valera has written to the Irish Vigilance Association stating that lie is shortly leaving America, and will visit England "because it is due to the loyalty and co-operation of my friends in England that I should call personally to deliver my message.
