AUCTIONEER'S NOTE.—Our: Agent, who has inspected -the above mentioned stock, reports as follows: —"This firstclass dairy herd comprises a very choice lot of cows and heifers, absolutely in the pink of condition. From a, dairying point of view, they are all quiet, low sel. fine and well boned, and full of quality. Both cows and heifers are well in calf. This season, which was by no means a good one, they have averaged about 300 lb* butter fat per beast. One season they averaged 32!) "lbs butter-fat per head. This herd can he confidently recommended to dairymen requiring real Rood butler-fat cattle.
