TWO DEATHS ON A STEAMER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright. / Received June 7, 8 p.m. '' Melbourne, June 7. Upon arrival from New Zealand, tins Union Company's steamer Kamu was fumigated, and subsequently Mr. Ca#er, the chief steward, and Nixon, the watchman, were found fatally asphyxiated in the engineer's cabin. They apparently had closed the door owing to the cold before the fumes escaped.—Aus.-N.Z. Cabio Assn.
