NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW.
OPENING TO-MORROW, Stewards will be in attendance at the Coronation Hall this afternoon and evening to receive exhibits as they come ill. All poultry must be penned by 9 p.m. to« night, and as many exhibits in the gta* oral competitions as possible are to be <le* livered at the hall this evening alio, Such exhibits as cooking must be deliver* ' ed not later than 9 o'clock to-morron; morning. The show will be opened to the publi« at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon, and will continue for-four days and fflaf nights. Entries in all divisions are ex* cellent. Arrangements to ensure the fix* ture being run successfully are well forward. Competitors in the jams, sauces, and pickles section are asked to note that ttxe points trophy is to be won twice in 'sn> cession or three >times at intervals, the conditions in the schedule being wrong!/ stated.
Luncheon, afternoon tea, and supjter will be obtainable in the building. An enthusiastic band of lady members has this arrangement well in hand. Th» ladies will also conduct a produce atallj the proceeds from which will be handed over to the Society, An orchestra has been engaged to provide the music on each of the four nights. Everything possible is being done to moke the show interesting and attractive t» the public. The price for admission is most reasonable, being one shilling for adults and sixpence for children under twelve yeaw. The committee of the Taranaki Agricultural Society solicits the support of both town and country residents in making the show a complete success!
