Entries in all divisions are numerous, and the quality of the exhibits will be of a high standard. The' lay-out of the hall has been greatly improved. Every foot of floor space not occupied by the Society's competitive exhibits has been taken up by local tradespeople, and some very interesting and attractive displays are promised.

The Poultry Show, which is being held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, will contain much to attract those interested in the feathered section. The pigeon section is by far the strongest seen in New Plymouth for many years. Pigeons are being sent from as far away as Nelson. All exhibits must be in their places by 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Poultry entered for competition mußt be penned by 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening, so as to allow of an early start with the judging on Wednesday morning, as this section is a, very big one, and the judging will take a considerable time.

Arrangements for luncheon, afternoon tea, and, supper during the show havo been left in the hands of a strong committee of lady members. A fully stocked produce stall will also be run by the ladies. Housekeepers will do well to visit this stall early, as many good things will be offering at most reasonable prices.
