COURSING.
WATERLOO CUP MEETING/ The New Plymouth Coursing Club will hold ft three-days' meeting on July 29, :iO, and 81, the principal event being the Waterloo Cup, which has attracted large nominations, and includes the pick of the Dominion's dogs. The coursing grounds at Glen Avon are close to town, so enthusiasts have no distance to travel to witness the several courses. Tho supply of hares should fulfil all requirements, a consignment of 40 having been secured from Christehurch, arid these, with the local product, are now running in the enclosure. Prior to the Waterloo Cup meeting, owners of dogs will have an opportunity of trvlng their dogs, as the club has decided to hoid a one day meeting at the end of' the present month. The exact date will bo advertised later.
