THE BELGIAN MANDATE. NEGOTIATIONS WITH BRITAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Juno 5, 1.20 a.m. London, June 2, M. Basftempierre, an official of the j Belgian Foreign Office, and M. Louwers, of the Colonial Department, are now in London negotiating with Lord Miincr (Secretary for the Colonies), in regard to the ex-German territory in East Africa known as Tanganiki. It has been arranged that the ex-Ger-man provinces of Ruanda and Urundi shall be included in the Belgian mandate; but certain transit problems have not yet been settled, including arrangements for transportation along a section of the railway between Tabora and the coast at Dar-ee-Salaam.—Aus.-NA Cable Assn.
