Greymouth, June 4.—Karamu, at 12.30 p.m., for New Plymouth. Wellington, June 4.—Manuka, at 6.30 p.m., for Sydney. Majiukaii Heads, June 4.—Barawa, at 5.50 p.m., for New Plymouth. THE RABAWA. The Barawa Is expected this morning from Onehunga, and will return north again after the arrival of the mail train from Wellington. THH KARAMU. The Karamu left Greymouth at noon yesterday with 850 tons of coal for tbia port. She will probably arrive this evening and j commence discharging on Monday. 1 BENZINE FROM AUCKLAND. The auxiliary launch Turanga, which has been purchased by Messrs. Stalnton and Co, left Auckland on Tuesday with a cargo of 300 cases of benzine and is expeoted to reach this port this afternoon. The vessel enters the New Plymouth, Waltara, Mokau, and Marakopa trade. Her dimensions are: Length 55 feet, beam 13 feet and I'-aught 4 feet. She has a speed of about 8 knots and a carrying capacity of 25 tons. Her gross tonnage is given as 40 tons, and registered net tonnage as 19 tons.
BEACONS AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Mariners are .notified that two triangular beacons, the Tear one carrying a disc as a surmount, have been erected on the south side of the harbor. When in line bearing 199deg. (S. Y* W. mag), they lead 900 feet from the end of the breakwater, and 100 feet clear of the breakwater extension. The beacons are placed 100 and 277 feet, respeoSvaly, from high-water marl! and are painted white, with a vertical black stripe in the middle. On and after July 1 a fixed red light will be shown from each beacon, visible between the bearings of 199deg. (S, % W. mag.) and 221%deg. (S. 25—19 W. mag), at a distance of approximately four miles.
