The enthronement of the Bishop of St. Afaph as the first Archbishop of Wales was conducted on Tuesday. There was a great gathering of Welshmen of ftll denominations. Prince Arthur represented the Royal family. Mr. Lloyd Gc-jrge was present. The installation it'ap performed by the Archbishop of Canterbury who, "in a speech, deplored the severance of the Welsh Church. The Daily Express states that Earl Wilton, who is the hero of many sensational plunges on the turf, has scratched all his horses, including his Derby engagements. He has also cancelled r.rrangements for a large private luncheon party. Earl Wilton, who is 24 j;ars old, succeeded to the title in 1915 when a .midshipman on board the warship Queen Mary. He married in 1917. The Daily Chronicle states that the report of Lord Milner's Egyptian comrt;i;<sion is complete. It recommends gjfat constitutional changes, giving the Egyptians a substantial amount of administrative control, including certain branches of the judiciary, but British conirol of public security will not be impaired. It is stated that the export of coal from Britain will henceforth be limited to 1.700,000 tons monthly compared with 73' A millions exported in 1013. Coal exporters declare that the result of the increase in Homeward freights will detlimentally affect rates and increase heme prices. The Government's policy, however, is aimed at meeting the needs of the home consumer and keeping inrtiutriea going, so that manufactured goods can ultimately fill the cargo space hitherto occupied by the export of coal. Great crowds witnessed the arrival at Tokio of the Italian aviators, Lieutenants Ferrarin and Massero, who have landed, completing their 10,000-mile flight from. Home, which, was begun on February 13. It is reported from Balse that when the French entered Frankfort they found a great quantity of looted French tapestries, pictures, and furniture at the residence of a German captain named Imhof. The French court has sentenced Imbof to 16 years in a French prison.
