CHAMPIONSHIPS AT WAVERLEY. By Teleprnph.—Pre-r Association. Wav6rley, Last Night. Following i 9 the result of the North Island champion sheep dog trial at Waverley. The weather was good, arid there were large entries. Results:— LONG HEAD.' First.—H. Little's (Canterbury Jack. Points 16, 14,3, 11; total 44. Second.—J. R. Corrigan's (Hawera) Dark. Points 16, 13J, 2, 11; total 42J. Third.—G. Sutherland's (Porangahau) Scalp. Points 10, 13, 2, 11; total 42. Fourth.—E. Johnson's (Kioro) Hemp. Points 15, 13,2, 11; total 41. Fifth: W. V. MeTntyre's (Manganin, Dannevirkc) Chief, Points 15, 13, 2, 10J; total 40*. Sixth.—W. Gray's (Canterbury) Bosi Junior. Points IG, 14, 0, 10; total 40. Mr. G. McGregor, the President, supported by a good staff of officials, got off the events in good order. Mr. A. MuGlashan (Kenenu) is acting as judge.
