EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OF TOM MOORE IN "HEARTSEASE." In the latest Goldwyn feature starring Tom Moore, whose popularity is daily on the increase, he has the role of a, young composer whose dreams of love and riches centre in the success of the child of his brain, the opera, "Heartsease." flow the charming Irishman conquers conflicting forces and realises his ambition, forms one of the most attractive stories it has been our fortune to witness. Romance and adventure abound, and the fact that one feels the impulse to take a hand and help along the plucky young composer is a tribute to his portrayal. Tom Moore doesn't act his parts—he is them. A nice, clean, wholesome love story, with a manly mail and a womanly girl, a fresh and stimulating atmosphere—these are a treat tj all picture lovers, and "Heartsease" has them all. "Heartsease" shows finally to-night, and a special word of praise is due to the supporting films.
THE PEOPLE'S. THE WONDERFUL LEE KIDDIES. Favorites of everyone from nine to ninety, the wonderful Lee kiddies, Jan.' and Katherine, are once more in New Plymouth for a two-day season and one matinee at the People's to-morrow at 2 p.m., in their big new Fox standard picture, "The Trouble-makers." In "The Trouble-makers," a comedy drama, Jane and Katoherine Lee, William Fox's "Baby Grand" film stars, unleash more fun and cause more tronble than seems possible There is a virile plot as a foundation for 'Trouble-makers," and a tensely interesting story is unfolded as the picture progresses, but the Lee kiddies are in the foreground all the time, and wherever they figure in the film there's fun or trouble (usually both). There are occasions, however, when Katherine i? called upon to display her splendid dramatic ability in scenes requiring portrayal of deeply stirred emotions. Jane, always irrepressible, is especially so in "Trouble-makers," and is seen at her best. The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m., children being charged threepence.
