PRINCE IN AUSTRALIA. TROUBLED BY THE CROWD, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 30, 11.40 p.m. Melbourne, May 30. The Prince attended a special show at the Agricultural Ground yesterday, at which (50,000 were present. Later, en route to the Lord Mayor's ball, ho called on a representative gathering of journalists at tilie Grand Hotel, where he said he was issuing an appeal to the people not to crowd him as they were doing. They would thus make the tour much happier. The Renown was thrown open to the public and visited by thousands. The crush was so great that many women fainted,'and tihe tents of the naval guard, on the beach were converted into first aid depots.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. OFFICIAL DINNER AND RECEPTION. Melbourne, May 20. Sir William Irvine (Lieutenant-Gov-ernor) gave a dinner to the Prince of Wales at Government House last night.
