SNOW IN THE SOUTH. SEVERE CONDITIONS PREVAIL. By Telesraph. —Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night, Severe weather has prevailed here during the past three days. The temperature is very low,'snow has fallen all over the province, and heavy falls are reported from the high country. On Saturday a # t 4 p.m. 18 ineheß was lying at Arrowtown, and it was then enowing heavily. At Cromwell there is very little snow on the flats, but the surrounding hills received a heavy coating. On the low lands in Upper Clutha snow is lying to a depth of six inches. In, Kingston, Garston, and the Athol district n heavy fall lias been experienced. Conditions show no sign oi improvement.
