The demand for building sections in the suburbs of New Plymouth was demonstrated yesterday afternoon, when good prices were obtained for sections on the Witiora golf links, known as the Maratahu estate. Twenty-six sections, each of a fifth of an acre, were submitted to the large attendance by the auctioneers (Messrs Webster Bros.), and sixteen were sold, .the top iprice being £230, and 'the lowest price £l9O.
