The sale is being held at Maiigahao for the convenience of buyers, where Mr. Allwood is now residing. The herd consists of Jersey and Jersey-Short-horn cows, and are all 2nd, 3rd and 4th calvers. T ICENSES to shoot Cock Pheasants and Californian Quail in the Taranaki Acclimatisation Scoeity's district from May 1 to July 31, 1920, will be issued from the_ following Post Offices: New Plymouth, Opunake, Inglewood, Waitara, Okato, Pungarehu, Rahotu, Tariki, Urenui, Uruti. Licenses may be obtained also from the Secretary. A Close Season is being observed for Native Pigeons. Licenses from outside districts will NOT be endorsed this season.
