RE RESERVE T.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—As the objections made by the Western Park Board are likely to lead to n wrong Impression regarding the request made bv the North Tarnnakl Cricket Association to the Borough Council for a lease of Reserve T, I wish to make the following explanation In rejriy: (1) That the Cricket Association wish to work In with the footballers and other Bports for the use of the Reserve; (2) Explained abo7o; (3) Tho West End children would have a much better playground as the Reserve would be transformed from a grazing paddock to a laid out park with seats and for shelter; (4) The sucgeßted loss of revenue Is a matter of adjustment. It seems quite obvious that the Western Park BoaTd were not conversant with the request made by my Association as all of these objections were provided for, and further, my Association naked the Borough Council to Impose any further restrictions they thought desirable.—-I am, etc.,
r E. STAINTON, Bon. See. North Taranakl Cricket Association.
