SUPREME COURT.

SITTING TO TAKE PLACE NEXT WEEK. CHIEF JUSTICE TO PBESIDE. Before the business of the Magistrate's Court was commenced yesterday morning the Registrar of the Supreme Court (Mr. James Jordan) stated'lie had received a telegram advising him that the sitting of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth, which had been adjourned till to-day, had been further adjourn' ed by the Chief Justice until June 4th (Friday of next week). Any matters pending will therefore be dealt with on that date by His Honor the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout), who will also deal with any chamber matters arising in the meantime.
