DOMINIONS' FLAGS FOR BRISTOL. NEW ZEALAND GIFT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 23, 55 p.m. London, May 20. The Lord Mayor of Bristol presided over a function which official representatives of the Dominion's attended for the purpose of presenting a series of flags in acknowledgment of the kindness and hospitality extended to the sick and wounded in war time. Sir George H. Perley (High Commissioner for Canada) presented a Canadian flag, Sir Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand) a New Zealand flag, Colonel Herbert (for the High Commissioner of the Union of South Africa) a South African flag, and Mr. Robert Busb (on behalf of General Sir William Birdwood) an Australian Imperial Force's flag. Sir Thomas Mackenzie said they were thanked for helping the Mother Country, but they remembered what the Mother Country did for the Dominions in the earlier days in expending blood and treasure, —Aus.-N-Z.
