GENERAL RATES, 1920-1921. jpUBLIC Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Rating Act, 1905," and the amendments thereto, and "The Counties Act, 1908," and the amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Council of - the-Poimty of Egmont, at the ordinary monthly meeting to be held at the Co'lincfl Chambers, Opunake, on Tuesday, the Bth day of June, 1920, to make anil levy the following general rates on the capital value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County, for the period of twelve month? from the Ist day of April, 1920, to the 31st day of March, 1921, namely: Oeo Riding—Two pence and one farthing (2Jd) in the £. Opua Riding-—Two pence and ninesixteenths (2 9-10tlis pence) in the £. Opunakc Riding—One penny and three farthings (ljd) in the £. Rahotu Riding—Two pence and . nine-sixteenths (2 9-10ths pence) in {he £. And that such Rates shall be due anj become payable in oile sum at the Countv Office, Opunake, on the 2;ird day of June, 1920, to the County Clerk and Rate Collector.
