WORK FOR RETURNED SOLICITORS. By Teieerapli.—Press Association. Whakatane, Last Night. Mr. Hoekly, M.P., lias received from the Hon. D. H. Guthrie (Minister of Lands) a letter stating it has been decided that an opportunity will be given all fully accredited returned soldier solicitors of participating in legal work under the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Act, Commissioners of Crown Lands will keep a list of solicitors wl.o are considered suitable for employment in this direction, and the work will be equally divided between the solicitors on the list. Applications to be placed on the list should be made to the Commissioners.
