The Klni completed the discharge of the portion, of her cargo for this port, and sailed at 5.50 yesterday afternoon for Picton, where she loads chaff and proceeds thence to Oneliunga. THE KIMU. The Rlmu discharged her cargo of cement yesterday, and sailed at 8 o'clock last night for Kawhia and Onehunga.. j THE WAIPORI. i A start was made with the discharging of the Walpori yesterday, but owing to the weather and the amount of labor engaged on other vessels the work was not able to be put Into full swing. She is not expected to get away from here before Monday or Tuesday next COASTAL TRADE. A small petrol driven vessel, the Turanga, has been purchased by Messrs Stalnton and Co. to trade between New Plymouth and Kawhla, and the Intervening river ports, namely Waitara, Tongaporutu, Awakino. Mokau, anil I Marakopn.. • The vessel has been trading 1 from Auckland to Coromandol and Is ■ expected to leave Auckland this week. Until there is shed accommodation at New Plymouth the vessel will run north from Waitara. The carrying capacity of the Turanga is about 30 tons. It is understood that, it would cost £2500 to build a similar vessel' to-day.
