Anthony Patterson, single. 25 years of age, a farm laborer, wag found d&td in liia bedroom at the Occidental Hotel this morning. There was a wound in the centre of his forehead", and a 22 Stevens rifle, with a discharged cartridge in the chamber, was lying on the floor. The body was partly on the bed, and its position seemed to indicate that the deceased shot himself while sitting on the bed. On the dressing table was a box of .22 cartridges. He was last seen alive yesterday about 1.45 p.m., when ho went to his room. The deceased in reported to have left a letter in his room stating that-he intended to Commit Bulcido and saying good-bye to a girl.
