TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. ENTRIES CLOSE TO-NIGHT. Intending competitors will notice by advertisement that nominations for all amateur events for the forthcoming tournament close, to-night at 9 p.m. with the secretary (Mr. K Clarke). The classes which are open to all amateurs are: Bantam, feather, light, middle, welter, and heavy. There will he ft professional bout each night, the contestants being won well-known in the ring. On the first nlpht, Georjie Richardson will be matched against Tommy Thompson, and T. Merlin Wlnlki will meet Frank Broun on the second nigh;.
