Tlie result was: Section 1 s., 590 acres, R Ross (Porangahau), IB applicants; section 2 s., 557 acres, H. ,T. xattersall (Palmerston North), 14 applicants; section 3 s., 351 acres, Daniel McKeenan (Palmerston North), 10 applisection 5 s .. 630 acres, Michael iMrtiratii (Lower Hutt), six applicants; section C s., 583 acres, J. H. Ford and "• J. Luxton (Wellington), tenants in common, five applicants; section 7 035 acres, ,T. Cox (Rawarden, Canterbury), three applicants.
