The Senate adopted the Republican resolution moved by Senator Knox ending the state of war with Germany by 43 votes to 38. As the House also ad.pted a similar resolution both go to a conference of the two Chambers before a final decision is announced. President Wilson is certain to vote for the resolution.—Aus.-NZ.
