MR. G. J. ANDERSON APPOINTED MR. COATES TAKES DEFENCE. By Telegraph.—Pren Association. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. Massey announced to-night thafr Mr. G. J. Anderson (Mataura.) hag been appointed Minister of Internal Affairs. He also said that in the meantime, the Hon. J. G. Coates will carry on Defence, but this and other portfolios will be definitely allocated before the House meets.

"I don't say that another Minister won't be appointed," he added, "but tho Cabinet as it is now is a good Cabinet.' Every member of it is enthusiastic and anxious to make a success of the departments under his control."
