ANTI-SHOUTING LAW.
"MUST BE OBSERVED." By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Four anti-shouting charges were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court. George Robert Wells, barman at the New Zealand Hotel, was fined £5 for permitting treating. Counsel said the regulation -was betng broken day after day, and was as dead as Julius Caeser The Magistrate, Mr. McCarthy, said the law was on the Statute Book, and must be observed. The other three defendants were fined 10s each.
