TRAM FATALITY.
DEATH OP A MOTORMAN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Andrew Logan, a widower, aged 60, residing at Cavaraham, died in Dunedin hospital yesterday morning as a result of an accident which occurred on the evening of the 30tii ult. Logan was a motorman in the employ of the tramway department, who, while adjusting a destination sign in front of his ear, was crushed between that car and another which was immediately in front,' He was attended by a. doctor and apparently improved, but on Saturday he became worse, and was removed to hospital, where he died as stated. An inquest was held this afternoon, but it was adjourned to permit a post mortem to be held.
