The Electricity Undertaking is the soundest business proposition the Borough has ever touched. It has never cost the Ratepayers a penny in rates, and it never will. MONEY IS REQUIRED FOR EXTENSIONS. VOTE FOB THE LOAN ON WEDNESDAY. GOOD ROADS POLICY. Help the Council to continue its Good Roads Policy. It costs more money to maintain bad roads than to maintain good roads. Have good roads and save maintenance costs. Remember the Loan provides for good footpaths where shown in the schedule. The carrying of the loan means that, amongst numerous other streets one asphalted footpath will be provided from the Post Office to each of the following areas:— (a) Fitzroy to Darnell Street. (b) Vog'eltown to Smith Street. (c) Westown to David Street. (d) St. Aubyn to Belt Road. Be progressive! Vote for Good Roads and Good Footpaths on Wednesday. ' WATERWORKS. Tears ago spiral steel pipes were laid down to convey water from the Reservoir to New Plymouth. These steel pipes are deteriorating and are in bad condition. There is danger of the water supply being cut off any moment. Remove this danger by voting for the Loans on Wednesday. SEWER EXTENSIONS. Only the central area of the Town is sewered. Public Health demands that sewers be provided for the thickly populated areas, at Te Henui, West End, St. Aubyn, Westown, Vogeltown, and Fitzroy.
