The Empire Press Union discussed the possibilities of extending the use of wireleas for newspaper purposes. Representatives of the Murami Company detailed a scheme for linking up the Dominions with Britain wirelessiy and.telephonically, subject to some Government control. It is intended to form i> new company entirely Imperial in constitution,, and invite the Governments to take shares and join the directorate. The Australasian Wireless Company will join as partners. The Marconi Company proposes to specialise in Press matter with a tariff onethird below the ordinary rates. The Union asked the company to submit details for the forthcoming conference in Canada.—Times Service.
