EGMONT MOTOR-CYCLE CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting was held at Hawera on Friday, Mr. J. Gray presiding. The report for the year stated that the number of financial members had dropped from 41) to 22. Only one club run was held. The annual race meeting was a success, the nett profit being £123 14s. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £25 in tho bank and 42130 invested. A motion that at least two of the committee retire annually, but to be eligible for \ re-election, was carried. Tlie following offlcors were elected: Fatrons, Messrs. W. D. Powdrcll, MP., and K. Dixon (Mayor) ; president, Mr. Bruce .Toll; vice-presidents, Messrs. .1. firav, A. F. Colo, K. Leece. M. .1. Lynskey, B. C. Bennelt ami W. O'Callaghan; club captain, Mr. A. Sp'ragg; vice-captain. Mr, W. W. Daw: committee, Messrs. (J. Mahouey, S. Harris, F. W. Pettctt W. J. Claringbold, A. Kean. and F. Sykes;' hon. surgeons, Drs. McGle, Sloan, and Thomson; hon auditor, Mr. M. ,T. Lynskey; hon. solicitor, Mr. H, L. Spratt; secretary, Mr. W. V. Patterson; treasurer, Mr G. Ma'honey; delegate to the New Zealand Auto-Cycle Union, Mr. A. Sprang; delegates to the conference, Messrs. A. o. Barley and A. Spragg. The date of the nest annual sports was left for the committee to fix. Mr. Bruce Joll promised a trophy.—Star.
