WAITARA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) May 0. Like everything else, the charge for admission to see a football match has advanced In price. At one time you could see an Auckland r. Taranakl representative match for Is, whereas now you have to pay Is to see first and second junior club matches, or at least you do so at Waitara. Mr. Geo. Fair, >n very old resident of Waitara, died In Auckland on Tuesday. The deceased gentleman had been ailing for some time, and had reached a good age. Lieut. Kempsall, who has charge of the Waltura Senior Cadets,' had the honor of shaking hands with the Prince on Mondav last. The Prince, noticing the South African medal, asked particulars of the wearer's' servlc. Lieut' Kmpsall has been associated with soldiering for a long lime. The Druids held their fortnightly dance on Wednesday evening, when there was a good attendance, the night being verv suitable- for dancing. ' The music was supplied by Mr. L. Feek's orchestra, extra Items being glxen by Mr. Gordon Frusei and Miss Hutchinson. The s.s. Wetere left this morning for Kalpara, whence she is bringing down a snagging punt for the Mokau Harbor Board
