Mr. John Fuller is still lying s.r'.„usly ill at his residence at Devoujiurt, Auckland.

Mr. W. Hutehons, the well-known Hawcra musician, has decided to live in England, and lias booked a passage ior the Did Country in July.

A very old and highly-respected resident of I'etone, Mr. Henry Kindlay. paused away «i. his residence'on Wednesday, at the age of til) years. Owing to Mr. Justice Hoskings iilness Sir John Salmond, Solickor-Ueneral, has been appointed a temporary Judge A messnge from Rotorua reports that Mr. John I'.cmy Burch, aged 41 vears, land valuer for the Bay of Plenty district, died yesterday from gastritis and pneumonia.

Mr. ti. H. Morgan, manager for tiie Union Steam Ship Company' at Newcastle, accompanied by Miss Morgan, arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Tuesday. Mr, Morgan is wellknown in New Plymouth, where ha was mannger of the Union Company some years ago.
