TARANAKI LAND BOARD.
The Taranaki Land Board met on the 28th and rose on the 30th ultimo. Present: Messrs. 0. H. Billiard (chairman), J. Heslop, C. Rvan, W. R. Cleland and J. W. H. Martin. The following transfers were'approved: Section 9, block XI., Aria, Hallen to Ivoy; part 1. section "XI," New Plymouth Town Bolt, Davies to Walsh; sections 8 and 9, Block X, Ngatimaru, Ryan to Iremonger; section 32, Tarurutangl District, A. and H. Street to A. Street; section 1, Block VIII., Egmont, J. and VV. Hodges to W. Hodges; section 202, New Plymouth, Osborne to Blarichett; sections 818 and parts 817 and S2l, New Plymouth, Langridga to Wakelin; sections 19, 20, and 22, Biock X. Ngatimaru. Cornish to Ryan; part section 30, Block XIIH, Ngalre, Seanlon to Allen. The following applications to transfer wore refused: Section 2S, Block X.. Ngatimaru, J. Marra to D. Kelly: section' 23. Block VIII., Ngaire, Boys to Startup and Brock; lot 3, Section W., New Plymouth Town Belt, Johnson to Grant. The following applications to transfer were deferred: .lection 2, Block VI., Upper Waitara, Pederson to Ittmro; sections 380, 381. Stratford. Brown to Kerswill; section 547, New Plymouth. .T. B Mason to Alleman; part sections 1686, lfiST, etc., New Plymouth, T. Shaw to E. Rhr.w; section 6, Block XII, Omonn, Clement to Gould. An application to sub-lease from F. It. Barnltt to D. Dickson was refused. An application for a straight out transfer will only be considered. Applications re transfers section 4, Block VIII., Ma para, Havarrt to Cnrrington; section G, Biock if, Heao, Bashford, to Barren and Thomas, and part section 4. Block 111., Rangl Shadbolt to Jarvis were reported on to Wellington. Solicitors and parties concerned were heard In the claims of disputed transfer West to Shermen and West to Burtenshaw, and after a lengthy hearing the matter was reported on to Wellington. John Brosnim was granted the Tight to acquire tho freehold of section 21, Block 1., Tangitu. Seven applications to mortgage were approved. L. L. Langridge is to bo allowed to subdivide his leasehold part sections 803, 808, etc., New Plymouth. DISCHARGED SOLDIERS' APPLICATIONS. Sixteen applications for farms were recommended, twenty refused and six defered. Seventeen applications for houses were recommended, four refused, and two deferred. Two applications to pay off mortgages were recommended.
