THE PRINCE OF WALES. , '" J HEREBY request the Public of New Plymouth to observe a close holiday to-day, 3rd instant, the occasion of the visit of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales to New Plymouth. JN pursuance of the provisions of Section 153 of "The Municipal Corporations Act,_ 100S," and the amendments thereof, the following streets and portions of Streets are hereby closed to all vehicular traffic from !) a.m. to 11.30 a.m. TO-DAY (Monday, 3rd instant):— St Aubyn Street from Brougham Street to Queen Street. Queen Street. Devon Street from Queen Street to Hover Street. Liardet Street from Gill Street to Pukekura Park. Gilbert Street from Liardet Street to Victoria Road. Cars may be parked in Gilbert Street and Pendarves Street east of Liardet Street. All Drivers of vehicles must strictly comply with, the directions of the Trufiie Inspectors. .TAMES CLARKE, Mayor. ALL Children attending the Central, West End, Fitzroy. and Vogeltown Schools are requested to bring with them to Pukekura Park a pocket lunch, which will be supplemented by the School Committees. Each child to bring a mug. Members of School Committee and teachers are requested to assist. TASANAKI VETERANS. TO-DAY'S ARRANGEMENTS. ''HE Members of the Taranki Branch of His Majesty's New Zealand Veterans are asked to parade at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, at 0 a.m. to-day for inspection by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Members will afterwards assemble at May and Arrowsmith's, when, at 11.30, they will be the guests to luncheon of the younger men of New Plymouth. At 1.30 members will be taken by the younjier men for a motor trip into the Ite^ljaSl RETURNED Soldiers are requested to parade in Liardet Street, opposite Criterion Garage, at 9 a.m. TO-DAY (Monday, May 3), to proceed to Pukekura Park for inspection by H.R.H. the Prince of Wales.
