DANISH AGRICULTURAL DELEGATION.

AGREEMENT WITH UNITED KINGDOM. (London Times Correspondent.)' Copenhagen, The last member of the Farmers' Delegation to return from the United Kingdom, Mr. N. Porse, brings the good news that an agreement, satisfactory to both parties, has been reached with the United Kingdom in respect of Danish butter. The United Kingdom contracts to take from Denmark up to the end of March 120,000 casks of butter, and to pay for it at the rate of kroner 6.40 per kilogram. The last agreement made between the two countries covered the period November, 1919, to February, 1920, and stipulated for the; delivery of a maximum of 80,000 casks at a price slightly over kroner 0 per kilo 340s per cwt). The present arrangement, therefore, practically disppses of all the butter produced here over and above the local and Scandinavian requirements up to April next, by which time it is confidently expected that the sale of butter to the United Kingdom will be unrestricted. The price is not quite what Danish farmers oensider themselves entitled to, but the desire to remain good friends with their best customer of pre-war times hag prevailed. The price of exported Danish agricultural products depends naturally on the cost of imp'ortcd coal and feeding-stuffs.
