Mr. Shortt (Secretary for Ireland), replying in the House of Commons to questions regarding Ireland, declared the Government would not 3'icld to threats ot a dockers' strike at Liverpool and Glasgow unless the Sinn Feiners were released. The' movement was not a Trades' Unionist one, but was engineered by local Sinn Feiners —Imperial Service. STOLEN MONEY RETURNED. Dublin, April 28. Freeman's Journal reports a remarkable sequel to the Mill Street raid on the 2Bth. A large amount of money will now be returned to tho banks from which it was stolen. The captors also offered to hand over the thieves, hut the banks replied that they were only able to deal with the Crown in such an affair. IRISH DOMINION LEAGUE. London, April 28Tho Irish Dominion League is now supporting amendments to the Home Paile Bill because the measure is inconsistent with the fundamental features of a Dominion settlement. Sir Horace Plunkett has cabled to Mr Hughes and other Dominion Premiers expressing the belief that tho fundamental principle of the Australian Constitution is essential to Irish welfare, and protesting against the imposition, under militaristic coercion, of a Bill exacting an oppressive annual tribute and perpetuating partition. Disorderly scenes continued at Wormwood Scrubhs. Over ICOO Irirh sympathisers marched to the prison in military formation and formed a cordon around the woman accompanying them. A strong force of anti-Sinn Feiners attacked the cordon with stones, clods and crass.
