MISSING WAR PRISONERS.

POSITION IN GERMANY AND TURKEY. By Tolejraph.—l'ress Assn.- -Cewrlght. Received April 27, 7-40 p.m. London, April 2S. In the House of Commons, Mr. Winston Churchill (Secretary for Wax) stated the British militnry mission at Berlin reported that there were 222 prisoners in Germany not accounted for at the time the mission's enquiry cloßed. No similar body was searching for records of the death of British prisoners in Turkey. A list of prisoners unaccounted for has been presented to the Turkish Government. Statements referring to a few men had been received but these were of small value, and ho feared the Turkish records were so imperfect that there was practically no chance of obtaining further information. —lmperial Service,
